Hey Baby, Here's That Roleplay You Wanted

*I laugh and grab onto your arms, shaking you back in forth playfully trying to throw you off of me.*

She wraps her legs around his torso to keep herself from falling.

*I stop flailing and groan playfully.* "Aww, now you're just cheating."

She laughs softly. "I made up the rules" She holds on the slightest bit tighter. "and this is well within the rules" she smiled as she whispered that in his ear.

"Oh really? What other rules should I be made aware of?" *I put my hand on your arms softly, caressing your soft skin.*

She pretends to think and decides against telling. "I guess you'll have to find out"

"Okay, is this one in the rules?" *I thrown myself forward, flipping you over my head.*

(I'm not gonna be on for like a week, I'm going camping. I'll return to this lovely place when I get back.)

(okay, have fun! ...not sure whether you were being sarcastic.. o-o) She squeals in surprise and tumbles over into the water. She surfaces with a devilish smirk before dunking him.

(Wasn't sarcasm. ) *I let you dunk me, then resurface, flicking my hair out of my face. I smile at you.* "Done yet?"

She never fails to be dazzled by him. She loves how he looks with the water dripping down his body and the sun shining down on him giving him an almost glowing appearance. His eyes sparkle with the reflection of the water. The flick of his hair left her almost breathless. She has no idea how he has this much effect on her. How she had immediately opened up to him. How she trusted him instantly. How the life she had built for herself came crashing down as soon as he came into her life. There is a subtle intensity under his every move. His every word. She is drawn to it, and only makes her want to know more about him. "you're gorgeous..." she breathes, but immediately covers her mouth, blushing deeply. She did NOT mean to say that out loud. Her thoughts had gotten away from her. "I mean...um..." Though she is amazed by the effect he has on her, she hates it at the same time. She loses all her edge and can't think straight. Her words are dumb and she becomes shy. "Nevermind." she says suddenly, almost in her former cold tone. That slip embarrassed her and she backs away from him slightly. She is determined not to lose her identity completely.

*I give you a warm smile, and cross the distance between us, putting my hand under your chin gently to bring your eyes up to mine.* "Don't be afraid to feel. You don't have to hide anymore." *I say softly*

Her heart rate picks up and her instinct is to pull away but, again, she can't take her eyes off him. She melts against his closeness. Against his soft touch. Suddenly, her body becomes weak and she can't tread water anymore. She is about to hold on to him for support but is too stubborn to so she forces herself to tear away from his gaze. "Let's go back." Before he can respond, she starts swimming.

*I sigh inwardly, utterly puzzled. I swim back to shore with you, silently. Once we get ashore, I stand up, looking at my now soaking clothes. I look to you as well.* "Are you cold?"

She becomes aware that her appearance is probably not one she would be happy with. She crosses her arms a little self-consciously, though she still exudes her confidence. Inwardly, she is impressed by his compassion and relentless care and warmth. Outwardly, she just scoffs. "I'll take care of myself, thank you." With that, she marches off to where she has been staying, not far from where she was sitting before they met. Her attitude confuses herself. One minute, she was happy and totally loving every aspect of him, and the next she was back to being a bitch. It is going to take a lot more than some playful splashing to get her to open up completely.

"Samara, are you ok?" *I start to walk after you slowly, confused.*

She sighs and turns around to look at him. Her voice softens and her eyes plead with him. "Please, I just need to think. I'll be right back. Don't go anywhere."

*I nod, understanding, though it kills me inside to see you walk away.* "Take your time. I'll wait here as long as you need."

She smiles gratefully and hurries to her temporary home at the time. When she finally gets inside, she lets out a loud sigh and wonders aloud, "what am i doing?" she closes her eyes and tries to clear her mind. She goes to her room and quickly gets out of her wet clothes, changing into something more attractive and edgy, but still coy. Looking at herself in the mirror, she is reminded of her younger, insecure self. She dressed like this to feel confident. Is that what she feels now? She turns away, thinking. He makes her comfortable, yet not. What is her real identity? Is it the shy, compassionate girl he brings out in her? Is she the confident, bold, dark person she has been for years? Still thinking, she gets up and reapplies her makeup. She notices her look is subconsciously softer but sexy. She wonders if he has anything to do with it. She sighs again and decides not to fight with her wet hair, so she just throws it in a messy bun. She looks at herself in the mirror and realizes how heavy her heart is. All the false pretenses, fake feelings, walls she built just holds her back. It will take awhile for her to come into this new person, but it's her. She is sure. She smiles a genuine smile, feeling truly happy about herself for the first time in years before heading back to him. She walks slowly, her head still spinning. For the first time, she cares what someone else thinks of her.

*I stand and watch you leave, almost in a trance, until you're out of sight. Once you turn a corner, I sigh, and turn back to the lake, sitting down. My head turns circles, barely able to process what just happened. I rub my head wearily, and check over my shoulder to see if you're walking back yet, even though you just left. I focus on my breathing, trying to regain my thoughts. Suddenly something hits me. I'm cold and wet. I take off my shirt, trying to let it dry at least a little in the fading sun. I look out over the water and remember your face, your smile, your eyes. I smile softly, the thought of you coming back finally letting me calm down. I sit on the ledge, and patiently wait, prepared to sit there until the end of time.*

She finally comes through the clearing and stands a few yards behind him. The sight of him sitting there makes her heart pound harder and she tries to calm herself. She takes a deep breath and walks up slowly behind him, trying (but failing horribly) to appear calm and confident. She doesn't know what to do anymore. She stands there, unsure if she really wants to get his attention and what she'll do when she does.

*I sit patiently, and check over my shoulder habitually, now seeing you again. My face lights up in a giant smile, and I almost jump up, standing and turning to face you. I glance over your changed clothes, and your new look. I stand for a second, my mouth opened, stunned.* "You look...wow." *I breathe, admiring how good you look.*

She blushes, looking down.

"So...is everything ok?" *I ask nervously.*

She suddenly knows the answer. She looks at him, smiling shyly. "perfect." At that moment, she wants is him.

*I smile widely, a giant weight lifted off of my chest. I quickly cross the distance between us, and pick you up in a massive hug.*
