Mystery Roleplay

So I was inspired by a game one of my buddies was in, and I want to do something similar here. I know how I want to run it, and I feel like it'll be fun. However, for the experience I want to create, the players won't know what this is all about until we start.

I would ideally like to run this with 2-4 people, 3 being the sweet spot. I want to keep this roleplay fairly concise, and it's easier with fewer people. It also makes it asier on me, as I'm not very experienced actually running a roleplay, I usually just participate.

Interested? Here's the deets. The setting is modern day Toronto. You are a person on the subway in the city. It's one of those subways that has no division between cars, and when it's on a straight track, you can see all the way from end to end. You are sitting/standing in the back of the subway. That's all you have to work with.

When you submit your character, I reserve the right to make tweaks if I find something I feel I have to tweak.

Bio: She is technically an "orphan" but does not talk about her past to anyone. She is an only child. Her father was in jail for most of her life, but when he was released he killed her mother before committing suicide. She is very smart but dropped out of high school as a sophomore (right after her parents died). Jayde did not drop out right away. She held out the rest of her freshman year. Her grades dropped quickly and she joined the "stoners" and "drinkers". When she first attended high school, she was the "popular" girl who everyone knew and loved. Now, she is constantly on the move, and nobody knows her story. She is withdrawn and hates social situations. She is very cold and sarcastic, but on the inside, she listens and takes to heart what people say. Her clutch was drinking at first, but now it is music. She writes, listens, and plays music. Contrary to her behavior and passions, her appearance is very normal. Though she does wear a lot of black, she still looks like the "popular" girl. People do not immediately disregard her, or tag her as "that girl". She has long dark brown hair and golden-brown eyes. She captures the attention of many, but doesn't pay much attention.

Items: Phone-in this modern day, everyone has a smartphone. Hers is NOT an iphone but an android. It has little doodles on the back and is kept very private. (this is what she is mostly seen on, whether it is for music, distraction, or just to avoid people)
Earbuds-she is normally wearing mostly black, but her earbuds are always the burst of color on her. She has 3 different pairs: pink, blue, and red. (these are almost always in her ears, they either connect to her phone or her ipod, no one really knows or cares)
Ipod- this is an old version of the apple ipod touch. It is black.(She is assumed to have this on her, but she rarely takes it out)
Notepad-not really small but not large either. It is black and is kept very safe. She never lets anyone see it. (She writes her music in this mostly but sometimes she doodles or writes little notes. These are where you can see the true Jayde.)
Pen-black. (She is rarely seen with any other color.)
An over-the-shoulder bag- black, and not too bulky. (She keeps her notepad in this most of the time.)

Alright, I would love for a third person to post a character sheet, but if not, I'm planning on starting this tomorrow night. The countdown is on!

I will leave sign ups open for one more day. If someone still wants to join, they have until tomorrow night to post a character sheet. At that point, the story will be ready to officially pick up steam and no one else can join until part 2. Which reminds me, yes, there will be a part 2 and a part 3, but they will be different genres. I will post new sign ups for each of those chapters when they are about to start.

Mostly, but there will be a few differences. Different genres, so different character sheets.

Well the character sheet itself kinda has a spoiler in it, so I'll PM it to you, and you can just PM me your character, or you can just save it elsewhere.
